Fransen Roses is a modern and dynamic company which concerns itself with the production of the large-flowered red rose, the Grand Prix^® . With our ‘green thumbs' and the willingness to work with our rose 24 hours a day 365 days a year, we can guarantee a Grand Prix^® rose of top quality all year long. To accomplish this we make use of the most modern techniques available to us.

In 1980 Fransen Roses was established under the name Rozenkwekerij Aad Fransen, located in De Lier, Municipality of Westland. Since 2006 a new nursery was added, which was built according to the latest techniques and where only the red rose, the Grand Prix^® , is cultivated on an area of 43,000 M2.

The growing media used for growing is coconut (ground coconuts) and the control of insects that nestle in the roses, occurs naturally. Also the electricity is produced in a durable way and the heat that is released is used by three nurseries by means of a cluster connection.
